For this exercise, we’re going to select a patient that has already been entered into the Q-Centrix Q-Apps database and abstract information from the HPF EMR. Your abstraction will be timed.

To start, you’ll want to open both the HPF EMR, to which you will have read-only access, and this quiz, into which you will enter your data. Your work will be timed once you click the "Begin Pre-Test" button. In order to be the most efficient, you’ll want to have both screens up/open so that you can toggle from the EMR to Q-Apps easily.

Begin abstracting the data by using the HPF EMR and completing the fields within the Q-Apps questionnaire. When you’ve completed the first page, click on “Next Section” at the bottom of the screen to go to the next section. Continue in this manner until you’ve completed all sections. You will see a “Submit” button at the bottom of the last page.
